Garbage in… Global warming out

So Phil Jones, the guy who invented the centerpiece of AlGore’s little PowerPoint presentation, has no fracking clue what happened to the records he based the climate scare on.  He’s a (now) self-admitted disorganized piss-poor record keeper.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

And to top it off, all that “settled science” now isn’t… settled, nor apparently even science.

Professor Jones departed from this consensus when he said: ‘There is much debate over whether the Medieval Warm Period was global in extent or not. The MWP is most clearly expressed in parts of North America, the North Atlantic and Europe and parts of Asia.

‘For it to be global in extent, the MWP would need to be seen clearly in more records from the tropical regions and the Southern hemisphere. There are very few palaeoclimatic records for these latter two regions.

‘Of course, if the MWP was shown to be global in extent and as warm or warmer than today, then obviously the late 20th Century warmth would not be unprecedented. On the other hand, if the MWP was global, but was less warm than today, then the current warmth would be unprecedented.’

Sceptics said this was the first time a senior scientist working with the IPCC had admitted to the possibility that the Medieval Warming Period could have been global, and therefore the world could have been hotter then than now.

via Climategate U-turn: Astonishment as scientist at centre of global warming email row admits data not well organised | Mail Online.

NOW there’s debate.  Not when the theory was proposed.  Not when the theory was being presented to the world.  Not when stick-up-the-ass Algore was embezzling billions in “carbon credits”.  No, “the science was settled” until these phony eco-fanatics were caught cheating on the numbers.

Egomania

A commercial keeps popping up on various channels for “The Apostle L.D. Reid”. What a fucking ego this piece of shit must have.

Sorry for the outburst, I just can’t fathom the balls it must take to refer to yourself as “The Apostle”.

Don’t get me started on the ignorant morons who have elevated this jerkoff to the point where he’s advertising on national TV.

Nobel

And here I was struggling to find a reason for it…
The Peace Prize? But How Has Obama Made The World Better?

“Three dead Somali pirates.”

(Harvey at IMAO)

I don’t think that makes it better for the real candidates for the prize.

  • Chinese Human Rights Activist Hu Jia – imprisoned for campaigning for human rights in the PRC, not as worthy as Barack Hussein Obama.
  • Wei Jingsheng, who spent 17 years in Chinese prisons for urging reforms of China’s communist system. — not as worthy as Barack Hussein Obama. (Not to mention the symbolic value of awarding a Chinese dissident on the 20th Anniversary of the Tianenmen Square Massacre.)
  • Greg Mortenson, founder of the Central Asia Institute has built nearly 80 schools, especially for girls, in remote areas of northern Pakistan and Afghanistan over the past 15 years – not as worthy as Barack Hussein Obama.
  • Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, a philosophy professor in Jordan who risks his life by advocating interfaith dialogue between Jews and Muslims, also not as worthy as Barack Hussein Obama.
  • Afghan human rights activist Sima Samar. She currently leads the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission and serves as the U.N. special envoy to Darfur and is apparently also not as worthy as Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama appointee falls on his sword

Now if the President would just quit appointing his socialist, racist, radical buddies to these positions of power, we could get on to the business of the nation.

White House environmental adviser Van Jones resigned Saturday after weeks of controversy stemming from his past activism.

“On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me,” Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. “They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”

I love that quote… “they are using lies”.  Well, if his own words and actions are lies, then yes.

White Supremacists! Guns! Arizona! President! (or not?)

… and a well-armed black guy exercising his second amendment rights.

What?  A black guy?  Wait a minute…

This is hilarious.

Okay, it would be hilarious, if it wasn’t yet another blatant example of the media showing you what it wants you to see.  The talking-head bimbo, the race-baiting self-hating traitor black guy, and the moron representing the liberal view of a good white guy (stupid, mumbles in consent occasionally, not much else) specifically used the image of this man’s guns to suggest white people would threaten the President.  They cropped out the images of his face, then showed a white guy being interviewed.  They said “white guys with guns” or words to that effect.

Hate to say it, but the whacko conspiracy theorists are looking more sane every day.  THEY really are out to screw us all over.  Let me see some of that moon-landing footage again!

Like a kick to the head

You know, the whole argument over whether or not you want the government to make your life choices for you is one thing.  I volunteered for that sort of life for twenty years, so I may be mildly hypocritical when I say I don’t want that for everyone else.  Remember, though – I had a choice.  But that’s not what brings me here this evening; it’s the most blatant example of an OUTRIGHT LIAR in the service of the socialized medicine crowd I could ever imagine.

Saw what you want about the “amateur” journalism practiced every day on blogs across the internet, here’s a perfect example of why we *need* bloggers:

Roxana Mayer: I’m Not a Doctor But I Play One at Town Hall Meetings

[This post follows up on a previous post in which I questioned the credentials of a woman at a Texas town hall meeting who claimed to be a doctor, but turned out to be anything but. She is a graduate student in social work -- oh, and an Obama delegate. Read on for more.]

Blatant.

Outright.

LIAR.

And of course, Ms. Lee just eats up those phony credentials (watch the video towards the end of the article).  Almost as if this were the perfect person to introduce the plans to implement more preventative care and hire more primary care physicians… almost… almost… perfect!

And they accuse those aligned against these efforts to give the government more control over our lives of being hired guns.

** speaking of Ms. Lee… what an arrogant piece of work she is:  Witness the way she rambles over the interviewers trying to get her to discuss her despicable conduct during a recent town hall meeting:

The repeated Lie Part II

I swear I just said this

“If you like what you’re getting, keep it,” Obama said. “Nobody is forcing you to shift.”

Yet the legislation the Obama administration is working on with the Democratic-controlled Congress would make major changes in how Americans pay for health care. The goal is to slow cost increases and bring in nearly 50 million uninsured, and the consequences are bound to affect how employers design benefit plans.

So he lied?

Earlier this week, a preliminary analysis by Congressional Budget Office estimated that 10 million people would have to seek new insurance under a Democratic plan that a Senate committee is working on, because their employers would no longer offer coverage. Those workers and their families would shop for a plan through new insurance purchasing pools called exchanges. About 160 million to 170 million people now get employer coverage.

Why yes, yes he did.  But it’s Okay…

White House officials suggest the president’s rhetoric shouldn’t be taken literally: What Obama really means is that government isn’t about to barge in and force people to change insurance.

We already know his rhetoric is bullshit.  Thanks for confirming it.

Promises, Promises: Obama’s health plan guarantee

PETA

I read this some time ago, and other similar articles.  I am constantly amazed that people like my own little sister believe PETA is in any way interested in protecting animals.  They’re simply anti-human – believing in population control and a vegan lifestyle.  Neither of these goals are particularly distasteful to me, but PETA’s methods are disgusting.

There’s a ton more on the This is True “PETA” webpage and http://www.PETAkillsAnimals.com, I highly recommend clicking through and learning everything you can about this organization.

The following story is from This is True dated 17 July 2005. It is Copyright 2005 Randy Cassingham, all rights reserved, and reprinted here with permission:

“Ethical” Defined

After more than 100 dead dogs were dumped in a trash dumpster over four weeks, police in Ahoskie, N.C., kept an eye on the trash receptacle behind a supermarket. Sure enough, a van drove up and officers watched the occupants throw in heavy plastic bags. They detained the two people in the van and found 18 dead dogs in plastic bags in the dumpster, including puppies; 13 more dead dogs were still in the van. Police say the van is registered to the headquarters of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and the two occupants, Andrew B. Cook, 24, and Adria Joy Hinkle, 27, identified themselves as PETA employees. An autopsy performed on one of the dogs found it was healthy before it was killed. Police say PETA has been picking up the animals — alive — from North Carolina animal shelters, promising to find them good homes. Cook and Hinkle have been charged with 62 felony counts of animal cruelty. In response to the arrests PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said it’s against the group’s policy for employees to dump animals in the trash, but “that for some animals in North Carolina, there is no kinder option than euthanasia.” (Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald) …Oops, my mistake: that’s “Playing God” Defined.

In his author’s notes section, Cassingham had more to say about this story:

The more I learn about PETA, the less I think of them. The story of them killing animals isn’t even unusual. According to PETA’s own filings, in 2004 PETA killed 86.3 percent of the animals entrusted to its care — a number that’s rising, not falling. Meanwhile, the SPCA in PETA’s home town (Norfolk, Va.) was able to find loving homes for 73 percent of the animals put in its care. A shortage of funds? Nope: last year PETA took in $29 million in tax-exempt donations. It simply has other priorities for the funds, like funding terrorism (yes, really). But don’t take my word for it: I got my figures from http://www.PETAkillsAnimals.com — and they have copies of PETA’s state and federal filings to back it up. The bottom line: if you donate money to PETA because you think they care for and about animals, you need to think some more. PETA literally yells and screams about how others “kill animals” but this is how they operate? Pathetic.

And you know what I wonder? PETA’s official count of animals they kill is 86.3 percent. But if they’re going around picking up animals, killing them while they drive around and not even giving them a chance to be adopted, and then destroying the evidence by dumping the bodies in the trash, are those deaths being reported? My guess: no. While 86.3 percent is awful, the actual number is probably much, much higher. How dare they lecture anyone about the “ethical” treatment of animals!

The repeated lie

If you say it often enough, and with enough conviction, sooner or later people will believe it – even if they know it’s an outright lie.

“If you like your current insurance, you will be able to keep it”

Forget the fact that a government-sponsored plan, paid for out of tax dollars, will inevitably put the rest out of business.
Forget the fact that a government-sponsored plan, paid for out of tax dollars, will force companies to quit funding health insurance to remain competitive.
Forget the fact that a government-sponsored plan, paid for out of tax dollars, will destroy competition and any chance of recovery once the “experiment” has proven it’s foolhardiness to even the staunchest of supporters.

Hillary care, Obama care, socialized medicine… whatever it’s called, it’s based in lies and doomed to failure – but it’ll only fail after it’s caused the lives and livelihood of millions of Americans.

It really gets under my skin when Chris Dodd and his ilk spew their lies on national television.

The Federal Indictment “He doesn’t want you to know about”

Three years without having to suffer through another windbag, snake-oil salesman’s pitch from the dark prince of nighttime television infomercials…

Yay!

Judge Orders Kevin Trudeau to Pay More Than $37 Million for False Claims About Weight-Loss Book

A federal judge has ordered infomercial marketer Kevin Trudeau to pay more than $37 million for violating a 2004 stipulated order by misrepresenting the content of his book, “The Weight Loss Cure ‘They’ Don’t Want You to Know About.”

In August 2008, Judge Robert W. Gettleman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois had ordered Trudeau to pay more than $5 million and banned him, for three years, from producing or publishing infomercials for products in which he has an interest. The ruling confirmed an earlier contempt finding, the second such finding against Trudeau in the past four years.

I always thought this guy reminded me a little too much of another scam artist in need of indictment: Al Gore.

I think my mom even bought one of his books…

The Problem with Voter Registration Fraud

Every election season we hear the polls – numbers intended to encourage the media favorites, and discourage those who would dare to vote against the liberal establishment. This year, we’re seeing report after report of the thousands of new Democrat voters signing up, compared to the dismal turnout of new Republicans.

Then there’s the little ACORN that never fell far from its tree. (Need I mention the tree’s name is Barack Obama?)

(ACORN: Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now)

ACORN spins out thousands and thousands of fraudulent voter registrations, and despite federal investigations, continues to operate with taxpayer (YOUR and MY) money. Every report covering this malicious group contains the convenient little caveat: It’s not illegal VOTING, only REGISTERING.

Back to those polls…

It is proven that many would-be voters won’t bother to go to the polls if they believe their vote won’t count. Faced with tens of thousands of “registered” voters for the opposition, many people could easily find themselves in that position this year. So why do even the conservative commentators continue to opine that ACORN’s nefarious activities won’t really matter in the end?

It matters NOW.

ACORN is at least partly responsible for the lower lending standards that got us in the financial rut we’re in today.
ACORN is currently in the act of defrauding the American people of their right to a fair election.

Barack Obama has had close ties to ACORN since his glory days of “Community Organizing”

Is there any surprise those fraudulent ACORN voter registrations are predominately Democrat?

Those of us paying attention are witnessing the greatest theft in the history of the world, and like any good spy novel will remind us: Sometimes it’s easiest to hide in plain sight.

How did we get here?

We all need this history lesson.

(This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner Music Group)

Let me be perfectly clear about the content of the video that is no longer displayed here… it was NOT a MUSIC VIDEO. Now which one of you liberal piss ants managed to register a BOGUS complaint to have this removed? Sheesh, I need to go back and read 1984 again to remember how this all works. Newspeak, is it?

The democrat talking point might be “we don’t need four more years of GWB”, but the real problem is Barrack Hussein Obama represents another term of JIMMY THE RACIST TERRORIST APPEASER CARTER.

Sorry, I should have prefaced that with “former president”. Maybe next time.

Thanks to Power Line for the link to the video.

Big Fat Hypocrite

Meet the Nobel Prize winning, self-aggrandizing, unparalleled scam artist that is Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.

Yes, the creator (and single greatest benefactor) of the carbon offset, is an energy sucking behemoth. Go figure.

Energy Guzzled by Al Gore’s Home in Past Year Could Power 232 U.S. Homes for a Month

In February 2007, An Inconvenient Truth, a film based on a climate change speech developed by Gore, won an Academy Award for best documentary feature. The next day, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research uncovered that Gore’s Nashville home guzzled 20 times more electricity than the average American household.

After the Tennessee Center for Policy Research exposed Gore’s massive home energy use, the former Vice President scurried to make his home more energy-efficient. Despite adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models, and overhauling the home’s windows and ductwork, Gore now consumes more electricity than before the “green” overhaul.

“The greatest scam in history”

I’m guessing John Coleman doesn’t get invited to ride on Al Gore’s private jet…

Weather Channel Founder’s Forecast

Currently, John Coleman is a TV weatherman for KUSI News in San Diego. But Coleman is most famous for being founder of the Weather Channel. He has had a long career in predicting the weather, working for the first time as a TV weatherman during his freshman year in college in 1953. With this extensive background, we might take John Coleman seriously when he states bluntly that global warming “is the greatest scam in history.”

The really sad part is that even President Bush has recently started to support the global-warming fruitcakes.

Well, all of this is predicated on carbon being a dirty word. And the carbon we’re talking about is carbon dioxide. Now, it’s the last remaining cornerstone of global warming.

The hockey-stick chart, that ridiculous scientific fraud, got shot down. The pronouncements by NASA about global temperature averages going up have been corrected, and now we know the warmest U.S. decade was the 1930s not the ’90s.

Let’s not forget, the American north is being nailed with yet more snow right now… and it’s the end of April.

The forecast calls for 22 degrees and snow tonight for International Falls, MN; while not a record, it’s below the average for the month.

Its cold up there!
