I always enjoy Michelle M’s writing style. Even more, I appreciate the fact that an acknowledged “mainstream” writer/author is not afraid to state publicly what many of us are thinking. Here’s a sample in response to the UN minister’s recent statement on how the US and other “rich countries” are failing to respond to the tsunami disaster. Michelle goes on to exemplify many of the efforts going on to bring relief to that area, and how the US is leading the effort with manpower, materials, and hard work.
The U.N.’s Mr. Stingy now says our military assets–helicopters, boats, and other transport equipment–are “worth their weight in gold.”
