My apologies to those Connecticut readers who may have gotten their hopes up over my announcement the other day that this drain on your tax dollars was about to finally come to an end. It seems that some clever legal maneuvering by his lawyer, who came forward the day before the planned execution to say he may have screwed up in helping this confessed killer in his plea to drop further appeals.

Pardon me if this offends your sensibilities… but can we kill this asshole already? Afterwards, it looks like the lawyer may need to be investigated and perhaps disbarred as well.

I find it ridiculous that an admitted murderer, who has accepted and asked for his sentence to be carried out, is not simply given what is due.
