Lynne Stewart Convicted on Aiding and Abetting Terrorism Charges

Well, ooh-rah, the court found her guilty as charged. Considering this country is at war, this case should be handed over to the federal courts, so the charges of treason, espionage, and providing aid and comfort to the enemy can be delivered with the death penalty they warrant. No, I don’t want her to be executed – that would be too easy. I want her name and dispicable acts to be broadcast on the evening news for a few months. I want her prosecution to be an example for other liberal pretenders; perhaps to make them think twice before they give up any semblance of integrity in their neverending pursuit of the almighty headline.

Lynne Stewart was convicted on conspiracy charges of aiding and abetting terrorism, of defrauding the U.S. government and of violating a government Bureau of Prisons Special Administrative Order (SAM) when she released a press statement from her 1995 client, the Egyptian cleric Omar Abdel Rachman.
