On the other hand, if you&#039;re not familiar with the ceremony of a military funeral, you&#039;re forgiven.  That&#039;s what the image represents, the flag that draped the coffin of a servicemember behing presented to the wife, with a child reaching out as well.  Presumably the child&#039;s hand is a reminder of what is left behind.
