Gates ‘glad’ to delay Vista some more

Does anyone actually believe this line?

According to Gates, Microsoft is spending between $8bn and $9bn developing Windows Vista and the accompanying Office 2007, with partners investing “20 times” as much.

I think Bill is so used to throwing around numbers relating to his personal wealth (and maybe some Carl Sagan fetish), he just can’t help but say “billion” whenever he refers to money. Seriously… Windows development costing in the neighborhood of $200,000,000,000.00? You’d think we’d have an operating system that works by now if that were anywhere remotely close to the truth.
