Serial Child Killer Hanged in Iran

Yeah, http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/071685.php other sites will berate you with images of the rather undignified death this foul creature suffered. Some will point out the fact that they even do this sort of thing to rapists and the victims of rape. Those are indeed unsavory practices that deserve world condemnation. But this isn’t about those.

Me, I’m more of an optimist.

This asshole was convicted of killing 16 children. He was beaten and killed for it. No long string of appeals. No extended stay in prison at taxpayer expense. No mob of liberal protesters crying over the cruelty of the death sentence.

As screwed up as Iran (and islamic theocracy in general) is, this is one event I really can’t find fault in. Now back to the regular schedule of pointing out all the ways they’re screwed up.
