Ok, spam-happy chuckleheads… the “trackbacks” folder is defined in my robots.txt to be ignored. All trackback information displayed on the site is pulled dynamically from .CGI via a server-side include, so it doesn’t exist on the page until the page is parsed. The search engine bots grubbing around on my site never see that CGI, so your trackback spam is impotent and ineffective.

So go away already… flooding my trackbacks with links to your tattoo parlor or casino only means I have to spend a couple minutes deleting your trash (it’s all plain text in one folder, simple to parse through and clean out). It’s not getting you links or enhanced search engine status. It’s just rude.
