This should be good

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

If you’ve never read the novels by C.S. Lewis, you’ve missed out. No fear, you have till December to http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0064471195/qid=1116739013/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/102-8974531-8756951?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 get them and start reading. While they’re written at a children’s comprehension level, they’re a good read at any age. From the trailer (follow the link above), it looks like they’re doing the stories justice.

I can’t wait!

  1. man, I just made a post about this same thing on my blog before i came to your site thru greymatterforums. I was in the movies and I seen a billboard for the movies i couldn’t believe it. After i read the lion the witch and the wardrobe in the 6th grade i ended up reading the whole series of books, I think its excelent that their making a movie, i can’t really believe it honestly, it’ll make me go back and read the books they are thought provoking and do any mind justice.

  2. Believe it or not, there have already been a couple attempts at this – one by the Brits (they really don’t make good movies), and one animated that I know of.

The one(s) coming out this December look to actually do the series justice.

And yes, a re-read is definitely in order. I have a hard-bound set on the shelf just waiting for me to dive in! 🙂
