Blake found not guilty in wife’s killing – Mar 16, 2005

Just a reminder that there’s been more than one celebrity on trial lately.

I’m happy to see Blake go free on this one – by all accounts, the murdered woman was an evil bitch no peach. Not that that is an excuse for murder, but since the evidence against him was pretty sketchy, I think setting him free was probably ther merciful and correct thing to do. Hell, go look at his pictures… the man doesn’t have many years left in him, anyway.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Four years of a real-life crime story ended Wednesday for actor Robert Blake, the star of “In Cold Blood” and “Baretta,” when a California jury acquitted him of murder in the 2001 slaying of his wife.
