The bigotry of low expectations

Came across this on The Jawa Report.  I think that while their chosen money quote was a good one: “There is one religion in the world that kills you when you disagree with them and they say ‘look, we are a religion of peace and if you disagree we’ll fucking cut your head off.” ~Bill [...]

My Slave, My Infidel

If this doesn’t piss you off, you’re not human. Makes one wonder: where is the hue and cry from the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Calypso Louis Farakhn, and every other race baiting social justice pandering professional victim out there decrying the state of life in these United States.

Dagny confronts the union

The previews are here, the previews are here!  Or one, at least.  I feel so teased.

Eating flies

“Flies that get stuck on the paper pass over a blade on one of the rollers that scrapes them off and into a microbial fuel cell.” Machines eating organic material.  Somehow this seems even worse than the alternative… saw it at Cosmic Log (MSNBC)

The Obama Doctrine

Okay, the title is misleading.  There is no “Obama Doctrine”, unless you count “make it up as you go along” as doctrine. But if there were a doctrine, it would read something like this: “Everything Bush did was bad, so it’s my job to make it worse!” Deep, huh?

“Obama is awesome!”

I think the female in this clip is related to Chris Matthews.  I can almost _see_ her leg tingling! Saw it on Power Line.

Obama Channels Bush

When I heard the President threatening to shoot down Libya’s air force (now that said air force has used up all its ammo blasting the “rebels”), I thought he sounded a lot like he was reading G.W. Bush’s speech announcing the decision to go back into Iraq.  Seems I wasn’t the only one to make [...]

A thought on cults

A show on NatGeo TV about cults caught my attention today. I find it somewhat amazing, but mostly disgusting that some people are so willing to give up their minds, their will, and their lives to follow a charismatic* asshole with a messiah complex.  It’s even more unbelievable in this modern day of free flowing [...]

Sarkozy on multiculturalism

This is a great quote.  Why can’t we find U.S. Politicians who will speak so clearly about the problems of mass, uncontrolled immigration? “We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him,” Sarkozy said in the TFI [...]

Thank you, Angelina

Just watched “Salt”, starring Angelina Jolie, and the first thing that comes to mind is the title of this post.  Thank you, Angelina. I say thank you, because I was just treated to a good old fashioned, “America Wins” movie.  I don’t want to ruin the plot, so I won’t go into detail, but it’s [...]

Setting the tone

Talk show hosts have nothing in the influence game when compared to the radical left. Since literally moments after the shooting in Tucson last week, the leftists have been screaming against all logic that the senseless violence committed by Jared Loughner was caused by angry political rhetoric.  Of course, it wasn’t, but that hasn’t stopped [...]

Tragedy in Arizona

This is what they were talking about when they coined the term ‘man-caused-disaster.’  It wasn’t an act of war.  It wasn’t the result of political extremism.  It wasn’t a racist reaction to the country’s first (half) black President.  It wasn’t a statement on illegal immigration nor Arizona’s efforts to combat same. It was one asshole [...]

Congratulations, Speaker Boehner

I didn’t get to watch it live, thankfully Jimmy was there with the commentary!
